Questions

Can the Wicklow tour be customised to my interests?

Yes. Your guide can shape the day in Wicklow around what interests you most: the history of Wicklow Gaol, the monastic site and lakes at Glendalough, or the gardens at Powerscourt. If there's a stop you'd rather skip, we can change the route on the day.

Is Powerscourt Gardens admission included?

Admission is paid on the day unless arranged in advance; we can pre‑book on request during peak season.

How much walking is involved at Glendalough?

You choose the pace. We can keep to short, mostly level paths or take longer lakeside walks if you’re up for it.

Do we visit Wicklow Gaol on a guided tour?

Yes—where possible we align with a timed tour for the best experience; we’ll confirm timings on the day.

What should I wear for Wicklow’s weather?

Layers and comfortable shoes are best. Wicklow can be cooler and breezier than the city.

Can we add a scenic drive through Sally Gap?

Certainly—weather permitting we can include the Sally Gap and lakes for panoramic photo stops.
